BIOGRAPHY

Jacqueline Cunningham, known mostly as Jacky or “jcdrawstrash” online, is a First-Generation and Former Foster Youth digital artist based in Denton, Texas. She is currently a Senior at the University of North Texas with an anticipated BFA in New Media Art.

Being raised by various families and experiences, Jacky strives to explore how to communicate complex emotions through photography, digital art, and animation. She expresses these emotions by brutalist means, including themes of violence, gore, religion/religious psychosis, and feminism in her works.

Jacky’s artistic practice aims to show the true colors of her complicated life. Through her practice, she advocates for Women’s Rights, LGBTQIA+ Rights, and exposing the horrors of the Foster Care System in Texas.
