My artworks exposes the “unliked” parts of my experiences using photography, video editing, and digital art methods. Using uncomfortable themes - such as gore and violence - I strive to make brutalist artworks surrounding the values of feminism and queerness.

I often revert back to a quote by Cesar A. Cruz and repeated by artist Banksy,

“Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.”

While it is a very basic string of words put together into a sentence, I believe that this quote is a good representation of my artworks, considering how violent my featured works are. My main goal is to achieve a sense of comfort within my disturbed artworks, and hope that these works also bring some form of comfort to my audience.
